This is a free English dialogue conversation with Dialogue Frog. So, the Olympics are happening. Yes, they are! The winter Olympics. And we're watch'n it. Not right now, at this moment. No. But in general. In general.
Yeah. I stayed up until 11:30 the other night watching figure skating. Whoa. Yeah. Well, 'cause of the time difference, right?'Cause the Olympics are happening right now in, in Beijing, but we're not in Beijing. That's true. So, if you wanna watch it live, you have to stay awake. Mm hm. Have you watched any? Not this year. I have in the past. It's just, when I'm watching it, it's really high tension and I'm always afraid when they fall or something. And then it's just so emotionally heavy. Yeah. It's like there's, someone's career is not necessarily at stake, but it's like, there's a burden of prestige. It's a huge moment in their life as an athlete. 'Cause it, it could be like the one time where they're, they're at the top of their game. Mm hm. And then they're on the world stage in front of millions and millions of people watching and then if they fall or mess up or even if they do everything right but their performance just wasn't as good as somebody else's. Yeah. It is so hard to watch. Right. But that's kind of what makes it exciting, too. Yeah, true. Yeah. Very true. It is fun to watch and like have a watching party and get some tasty food. Yeah. Um. And, and hope that you don't have to cringe too much if they fall. That's true. Yeah. Support them on their athletic journey. Yep.
